- 2006 AQHA sorrel gelding, reining/cow bred, well started. Lots of
natural cow sense. 14.3 hands. Nice stop & turn-around. Has worked
the flag and live cattle, very cowy!! Money earner in team sorting. (His
half-sister, by the same sire, is enrolled in the KC's Clones Trainer
Apprentice Program and will be sold this fall!) $4750
- 2004 AQHA bay mare, Great Pine & Hollywood Jac 86, 14 hands, broke,
BIG stop, very cowy! $6500
- 2007 buckskin overo gelding, loud colored, 2 blue eyes, fancy and
unique. Not registered, started under saddle, very flat and
exceptionally pretty mover. Will be large pony or small horse at
maturity. This horse is deaf. $5500
- 2007 AQHA Palomino mare, very physical, lots of talent here! Big stop,
nice turn-around, well started, just needs finishing touches. Nice cow
horse or barrel prospect. $2500
These are all good horses in various stages of training. If any of these horses
interest you, but do not sound as though they are advanced enough in their
training, consider leaving them here to continue their education in our full
time training program. Consult the 'Fees' page to examine the cost.

OPEN BARN & SILENT BID HORSE AUCTION Sept. 18, 2010 10 AM to 8 PM
Horses listed on this page along with horses enrolled in the KC's Clones Trainer Apprentice Program will be available for purchase via silent bid on Sept. 18, 2010 during our open barn. You are invited and encouraged to come here to meet & ride any of these horses at any time, choose the horse(s) you like and follow their progress throughout the summer BEFORE you commit to buy! Do any research and experiments you would like, bring along your respected horse friends for their advice and input, conduct any vet checks you wish. This is designed and intended to be a no-pressure atmosphere where you can take the time to make informed decisions. Buy with confidence!! We want to take the time to get to know our customers and encourage follow-up riding lessons, boarding or training. Used tack for sale as well. Refreshments available.

How this silent bid horse auction will be conducted:
- We reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
- Buyers meet & ride any horses they may be interested in purchasing,
you are encouraged to come as often as you wish throughout the
summer to develop a working relationship with any horse you might
like, follow their progress either personally &/or on YouTube, conduct
any experiments vet checks, etc. you wish at any time.
- Visit with our students about each horse, its good & bad points.
- Should you decide you would like to place a bid, you will be asked to fill
out a silent bid form, stating your name, contact information and
maximum bid in U.S. dollars.
- Bids are then placed in a designated box where they remain silent &
hidden until the open barn is over. Bids will then be reviewed privately.
Should you wish to make a change to your bid or retract it, simply fill out
a new silent bid form clearly stating any changes.
- There is no minimum starting bid requirement.
- Buyers will be contacted either later that same evening or the following
day to be advised as to whether or not their bid was accepted.
- If you are the highest acceptable bidder, you will be expected to pay for
the horse at that time.
- If you do not wish to conduct a pre-purchase exam, you may then take
possession of the horse anytime the following week for no additional
charge. Board after that time will be charged at the rate of $10 per day.
- OPTIONAL VET CHECK: you then have the option to conduct any vet
work you wish, at your expense, within 1 week. Your full purchase price
will be promptly refunded should the horse not pass the vet check to
your satisfaction. The horse will remain in the care, custody & control of
KC's "tReining" Center until that time.
